Dragonstone Ch. 2I slowly opened my heavy eyelids, awaking to the sound of birds chirping and water flowing. I looked around, and saw the trees blowing in the wind, the blue sky above them, and the crystal clear surface of Sapphire Lake, the wind blowing ripples across it. Everything about nature seemed more clear and amazing than it used to be. For a few minutes, I gazed at my surroundings. That’s when it hit me, what had happened earlier? I had changed into something, but I didn’t know what it was. I awkwardly stood up on my new, muscular legs. I lifted my hand into view to see it was still covered in golden scales, and had sharp whiteDragonstone Ch. 2
